Complete Range of
Precision Abrasives

Manufactured to SAE, AMS, and ISO standards. Every grade rigorously tested before dispatch — from foundry cleaning to aerospace peening.

Hero Product

Steel Shot

High-carbon spherical pellets delivering consistent, repeatable results in blast cleaning, shot peening, and surface preparation. The round profile ensures a smooth, dimpled finish ideal for coating adhesion.

Angular Profile

Steel Grit

Angular particles crushed from high-carbon shot and heat-treated to precise hardness. Creates an anchor profile that dramatically improves paint and coating adhesion — even on heavily corroded steel.

Precision Cut

Cut Wire Shot

Steel wire cut to precise lengths equal to the wire diameter. Available conditioned or unconditioned, it offers superior uniformity and longer service life compared with cast abrasives.

Selection Guide

Choosing the right abrasive

Shape selection

Shot vs Grit: when to use which

Steel shot (spherical) produces a smooth, dimpled surface profile ideal for shot peening and moderate cleaning where coating adhesion is needed without aggressive roughness.

Steel grit (angular) fractures to create sharp anchor profiles — Sa 2.5 to Sa 3 — required by heavy-duty protective coatings in marine, pipeline, and structural applications.

When both peening and profiling are needed, a mixed shot-to-grit ratio (typically 60/40) delivers controlled Almen intensity alongside adequate roughness.

Size selection

Size selection guide

S110–S230 / G80–G50Low Ra — smooth, fine finish; precision peening
S280–S390 / G40–G25Medium Ra — standard industrial coatings
S460–S780 / G18–G10High Rz 75–150 µm — heavy protective coatings

Always confirm surface profile spec with your coating supplier before finalising grade selection.
