Stainless Steel Grit
Angular 304 and 316 grade stainless grit engineered for contamination-free aggressive profiling. Macloid Stainless Steel Grit removes scale and creates a deep anchor pattern without leaving rust-inducing ferrous residue.
Contamination-Free Angular Grit
Macloid Stainless Steel Grit is produced from premium 304 and 316 stainless feedstock and crushed into sharp, angular particles. The angular morphology delivers an aggressive cutting action that strips weld scale, heat tint, and old coatings while etching a deep, uniform anchor profile for excellent paint and coating adhesion.
Unlike carbon-steel grit, stainless media leaves no ferrous embedment, which is essential when blasting stainless, aluminium, and titanium components that would otherwise suffer rust bleed and galvanic corrosion. The 316 grade offers even greater corrosion resistance for marine and chemical-exposure environments.
With high hardness and toughness, the grit withstands many recirculation cycles, lowering consumption. Tight size grading from SG10 through SG80 lets fabricators match the exact profile required for medical, marine, and architectural specifications.

Advantages
No Ferrous Contamination
Made from 304 and 316 stainless feedstock, the grit leaves no carbon-steel embedment, preventing rust bleed on stainless, aluminium, and titanium parts.
Angular Cutting Action
The sharp angular morphology delivers aggressive material removal and a deep anchor profile for superior coating adhesion.
Corrosion-Resistant Media
The media itself resists rusting in humid or wet blasting environments, extending storage life and reducing waste.
High Durability
High hardness and toughness give many reuse cycles in recirculating blast systems, lowering cost per square metre.
Consistent Profile
Tightly graded particle sizes produce a repeatable, uniform surface profile critical for medical and marine specifications.
304 & 316 Grades
Available in both 304 and the more corrosion-resistant 316 grade to match the substrate and cleanliness requirements.
