Beyond the Standard

Custom Specifications Available

Our standard catalog covers the most common grades and sizes — but Macloid Metalix regularly manufactures custom abrasive solutions for demanding OEM and process-specific requirements.

Custom Hardness Ranges

We can produce steel shot and grit at non-standard hardness ranges (e.g. 44–47 HRC for specific peening Almen intensity requirements). Minimum order quantities apply.

Proprietary Size Blends

Custom multi-grade blends combining two or more size fractions to achieve a specific surface profile with greater efficiency and reduced cycle times in high-throughput wheel blast operations.

Third-Party Certifications

We facilitate third-party testing and certification through NABL-accredited laboratories. CE marking, REACH compliance documentation, RoHS declarations, and material traceability reports available on request.

Specialty Packaging

Standard packaging is 25 kg woven PP bags on pallets. Custom options include 1000 kg jumbo bags, 50 kg steel drums, vacuum-sealed moisture-proof bags, and private-label packaging for distributors.

Bulk & Export Orders

We supply by FCL (20 ft / 40 ft containers), LCL, and air freight. Export documentation including COA, packing list, bill of lading, phytosanitary certificates, and letter of credit compliance are standard.

Technical Consultation

Our process engineers offer free consultation for abrasive selection, blast parameter optimisation, and Sa cleanliness grade achievement. Remote and on-site visits available for bulk customers.
