Quality assurance

Quality

Uncompromising standards in every abrasive — backed by ISO 9001:2015 certification and a five-stage quality control framework.

Quality management system

Built on ISO 9001:2015

ISO 9001 : 2015 Certified

Every gram we ship is traceable

Our quality management system governs every stage from raw material intake to final shipment. Documented protocols, digital test certificates, and mandatory lot-by-lot testing mean there are no shortcuts and no exceptions.

Lab results are archived for 7 years. Each shipment carries a QR-linked test certificate — scannable by the end customer at any point in the supply chain.

In-house lab

Six tests on every batch

Our metallurgical lab conducts all mandatory tests in-house — no dependence on third parties, 4-hour turnaround, same-day release for urgent orders.

Rockwell HRC

Hardness testing

10 sample particles per lot tested on a calibrated Rockwell tester. Target hardness must be within ±2 HRC of specification before any batch is approved for dispatch.

SAE J444

Sieve analysis

Ro-Tap vibratory sieve shaker verifies size distribution across full range S70–S930 and G10–G80. Out-of-range fractions trigger full reprocessing.

OES / ICP

Chemical analysis

Optical emission spectrometer checks carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur and phosphorus on every melt and again on finished product samples.

Optical microscopy

Microstructure analysis

Sections at 100–500× magnification confirm martensite content and absence of untempered martensite, retained austenite or inclusions.

Charpy / fatigue

Impact testing

Toughness evaluation for specialty grades. Validates that abrasives withstand repeated high-velocity impact without premature fracture or spalling.

Visual / digital

Particle shape analysis

Sphericity and defect checks on shot product. Angular grit evaluated for facet sharpness. Out-of-round or hollow particles are screened out at this stage.
