Pure non-ferrous cleaning media
Macloid Aluminum Shot is produced from controlled-composition aluminium alloy and conditioned into rounded particles with a consistent density of 2.7 g/cm³. Because it contains no iron, it is the preferred choice wherever ferrous embedment must be avoided — aluminium die castings, zinc components, and aerospace alloys.
The low particle mass and soft hardness deliver a cushioned impact that removes flash, oxides, and release agents while preserving fine geometry and tight tolerances. This makes it ideal for finishing thin-walled housings and precision-machined parts that would be distorted by heavier steel media.
Recyclable across multiple cycles in cabinet, tumble, and automated blast systems. Produces a clean matte-bright surface that accepts anodising, painting, and powder coating without any further pre-treatment.
